Silver and Fun at the Rising Sun
Fifteen green and golds of a certain age took to the snowy but sunny, sledge-filled slopes of the Rising Sun Country Park home turf to compete in the NEMAA Open X-Country Championships on Saturday 2nd February.

Robbie Livermore’s funeral is on Monday 4th February at 1pm St George’s Church Cullercoats. At 2.15pm there will be a service at Tynemouth Crematorium for family and close friends only. Then everyone back to Lindisfarne Social Club.
The first Davison Shield was in 2008 and had just 41 female entries (fyi, Wallsend were sixth and 11th!). Eleven years on and there were 348 women and 429 men!
It was a sunny but ridiculously windy morning at Birtley Cathedral Relays. Formerly Durham Cathedral Relays, the fabulous Birtley stepped in to ensure the popular New Year event went ahead in 2019.
