Ok ok so I wasn’t there, but I was with you all in spirit (as I stuffed myself with pastries in sunny Paris 🙂
Rumour had it that the weather was biblical; thunder, lightning, hail, the lot, but from what I could see on Facebook it was glorious sunshine (bunch of drama queens :).

With barely enough time to brush down our xc footwear, it was time to hit the windy banks again, this time at the beautiful Druridge Bay.
The weather was not as advertised but this did not deter our faithful band of Green and Golds…
It’s that magic time of year again; when mud flows, the spikes are out and cakes are a plenty…x-country time!.
What a weekend it was! A Royal visit, trophies galore for the juniors and a sea of Green and Golds for the big event. Yes, it was Great North Run weekend.
