Marathon efforts by green and gold contingent

More awesome achievements to report from our green and golds on tour…

Terry’s tenacious spirit was definitely in the air on Sunday as our trio of London ‘Marathoners’ crossed the finish line! Gez Davidson in 3:15.14, Sean McIntyre in 3:27.47 and Alan Moses in 4:18.31.

They were joined by Wallsend friends Kenny Chambers Neil Banks and Kerry Reed. Huge congratulations to you inspirational lot.

Meanwhile the courageous Collinsons took on Stockton Duathlon. It was Dave’s first time as an over 50s and he finished 11th in his age group in the Sprint Duathlon (5k/20k/2.5k) in a time of 1:09.59 (a PB by 6 mins 28 secs). Julie completed the standard Duathlon (10k/40k/5k) in a fantastic 2:45.50. And Don also took on the gruelling Sprint Duathlon and came fourth in his age group with an awe inspiring 1:21.30. We salute all of you.
