Terry O’Gara Results

A huge thanks to everyone who took part in our Terry O’Gara 5k memorial race. Conditions were perfect and we had some amazing racing. A huge shout out to our amazing officials and our volunteer marshals

We hope you enjoyed the race and hope to see you back at the same venue on Wednesday 10th May for the very popular Gordon Smith Relays. 3 x 2 miles (3 athletes must include at least one vet).

Summary of senior results:
Alex Brown (Morpeth) led the men home in a new course record of 14:26 with Joe Wales (Gateshead) in 2nd place in 14:52 and Chris Coulson (Houghton) in 3rd in 14:56.

Sophie Harris (Elswick) led the women home in 16:20 followed by Danielle Hodgkinson (Wallsend) in 16:45 and Holly Waugh (NSP) in 16:48. All results below:
