Terry O’Gara Results

A huge thanks to everyone who took part in our Terry O’Gara 5k memorial race. Conditions were perfect and we had some amazing racing. A huge shout out to our amazing officials and our volunteer marshals 💚💛

We hope you enjoyed the race and hope to see you back at the same venue on Wednesday 10th May for the very popular Gordon Smith Relays. 3 x 2 miles (3 athletes must include at least one vet).

Summary of senior results:
Alex Brown (Morpeth) led the men home in a new course record of 14:26 with Joe Wales (Gateshead) in 2nd place in 14:52 and Chris Coulson (Houghton) in 3rd in 14:56.

Sophie Harris (Elswick) led the women home in 16:20 followed by Danielle Hodgkinson (Wallsend) in 16:45 and Holly Waugh (NSP) in 16:48. All results below:
