Dave Hall’s to victory

Dave Hall 2Dave took the glory after an excellent run as 27 runners took on the Summer Grand Prix course. Despite wanting an earlier start, he still finished ahead by 18 seconds from debutant Cynthia Scoins, with Keith O’Donnell rounding out the top 3. With no Harry or Nick, our fastest male was Simon Lyon beating Matt Darbyshire by 1 second, with a 10:49. Gill Weatherill was the fastest female with a 13:53, 11 seconds ahead of Leanne Smith.

Huge congratulations to David Scoins for breaking his own v60 record with a 12.51. Well done!

For the overall table its getting very close at the top as Graham Armstrong takes the lead from Sean McIntyre, with Simon Lyon edging into second place. With the best 8 of 11 races counting for points, and 170 points on offer anyone can still grab the title. The next race is the Morpeth 10km on Tuesday 4th August.
