Mud and glee at Peterlee
As we approach the end of another x-country season there was a lot to play for at Peterlee. But they don’t make it easy at that there Thornley.

Fifteen green and golds of a certain age took to the snowy but sunny, sledge-filled slopes of the Rising Sun Country Park home turf to compete in the NEMAA Open X-Country Championships on Saturday 2nd February.
We may be into a new year, but it’s the same brilliance from young Sam. The newly crowned U17 North of England XC Champion!
Robbie Livermore’s funeral is on Monday 4th February at 1pm St George’s Church Cullercoats. At 2.15pm there will be a service at Tynemouth Crematorium for family and close friends only. Then everyone back to Lindisfarne Social Club.
It is with great sadness that today we heard about the passing of club member, Robbie Livermore, who died yesterday.
Robbie joined our club in 2014 along with members of his family. He was a great runner and clubmate who represented the club across a range of distances.
Robbie was an immensely popular member of the club. He was funny, good company and a genuinely likeable person.
He will be sorely missed.
As a club our thoughts and prayers go out to Robbie’s family; especially Karen, Callum and Briony, at this sad and difficult time.
RIP.
