Another smoggy tops a table!

Another smoggy tops a table, as Ian Gowing bounds to victory.

A great race from Ian who was too strong for the rest of the field, despite a fight from Leanne Smith and Nathan Dalgarno. Ian finished with a season’s best of 20:22. Leanne, who also recorded the fastest female of the night with a PB 21:35. Fastest male of the night was yet again Harry Coates in an excellent 16:21. Well done all!

Kevin Wilson and Alan Heslington hold the top two spots in the winter grand prix table with Olly Aird holding 3rd place outright over Nina Wilkinson. However, as only your best four races count and 4 of the 6 races have been completed, anyone can still be caught.

Massive thank you to Christine and Sean for an excellent job officiating tonight, and Leanne for helping me with the times. Next race will be the Newcastle XC (TBC) on the 13th February, followed by the WGP#5 on the 16th February.
